MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Bucket Brigade

With our Bucket Brigade you can make a donation to help feed the hungry and stop hunger wherever it strikes. The Bucket Brigade is an excellent option to donate to as an individual or even as a business looking to help others!

Now Recruiting: An Army of Volunteers!

When disaster hits, it often strikes without warning.  It wipes out hopes, livelihoods, and infrastructure. Natural disasters don’t discriminate between borders, skin color, languages or beliefs. They come at any moment and they destroy lives. But, with your help, IMPACT WITH HOPE  is ready to respond. You can help IMPACT WITH HOPE  respond to disasters whenever and where they strike by making a donation  or by joining The Bucket Brigade.

The Bucket Brigade is a group of volunteers and supporters who ensure that whenever and wherever disaster strikes, IMPACT WITH HOPE is ready to respond with life-saving food and relief. By filling a lidded 5-gallon bucket with needed supplies, you can get immediate help into the hands of families who have lost everything. It couldn’t be simpler to join and make a real difference in the lives of those who have been affected.

IMPACT WITH HOPE also accepts other relief items such as paper towels, toilet paper, tissues, disposable tableware, laundry detergent, trash bags, new tents, tarps, brooms, rakes, shovels, box fans, work

gloves, shop vacs, and new portable generators.  Especially needed are manual can openers, peanut butter and canned meats, canned fruits, laundry detergent, sunscreen, all sizes of zipper bags, and new 5-gallon buckets with lids.  Please make sure to check the expiration dates of all product and do not donate anything in glass containers.  The only clothing items accepted by IMPACT WITH HOPE for distribution are new children’s clothing and new socks & underwear.

If you would like to participate in the Bucket Brigade but can’t fill a lidded bucket on your own, a gift of $35 will allow IMPACT WITH HOPE to fill, ship and distribute the bucket of your choice.

We want to move as many buckets as we can into the hands of families who have lost everything in natural or manmade disasters.

IMPACT WITH HOPE welcomes volunteers to help the Bucket Brigade at our Distribution Center located at 905 Farnsworth Road in Waterville, OH. Our regular volunteer hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (In times of disaster, these hours may be extended so check back often for updates.) If you have never volunteered with us before, please be sure to fill out the volunteer application, liability waiver and photo consent forms found here and bring them with you. Volunteers may be utilized for a variety of tasks so please dress accordingly. If you serve over a meal time, feel free to bring a sack lunch with you.
