Meet Victoria
Through our LightHouse ministry, IMPACT WITH HOPE has assisted a countless number of children and adults through the Children’s Medical Rehabilitation Program.
Seven years old from Ghana, Africa.
Victoria is a seven year old from Ghana, West Africa. She was born with a medical condition called tracheo-esophageal fistula, which she had surgically repaired in Toledo Ohio by Dr. James Geiger when she was an infant. Victoria returned to her birth country of Ghana, and developed complications from her prior condition: esophageal stenosis. In January 2014, Victoria was approved for medical intervention by Dr. James Geiger at Mercy Children’s Hospital on a pro-bono basis.
Victoria needed medical care that did not require surgery. During her time at the LightHouse, Victoria attended St. Joseph Elementary School in Maumee, Ohio. Victoria’s life was touched by His remarkable love for children. When she returned to Ghana on February 20, 2016…she was all smiles.
